The BetaShares AGVT ETF provides investors with exposure to a portfolio of high-quality bonds issued by Australian federal and state governments, supranational banks and sovereign agencies.
What does the AGVT invest in?
The AGVT ETF invests in Australian dollar-denominated fixed rate bonds primarily issued by Australian federal and state governments. To be included in the ETF, each bond must have a term to maturity between 7-12 years and meet a minimum issuance size.
What do investors use AGVT for?
Investors could use the AGVT ETF to diversify an existing portfolio and gain exposure to Australian government bonds, or to create a regular income stream from the monthly distributions offered by this ETF.
