BetaShares CRED ETF (ASX:CRED)
The BetaShares CRED Fund provides investors with exposure to a portfolio a portfolio of investment-grade, fixed-rate Australian corporate bonds.
What does the CRED invest in?
CRED invests in investment-grade Australian dollar-denominated corporate bonds from a range of different issuers, mostly those listed on the ASX. Financial bonds have the highest weighting in the portfolio, but CRED also provides exposure to several other industries, including non-cyclical consumer, communications, and utilities. To be included in this ETF, a bond must have a term to maturity of between 5.25 to 10.25 years.
What do investors use CRED for?
Investors could use the CRED Fund to diversify an existing portfolio and gain exposure to senior, fixed-rate, investment-grade Australian corporate bonds, or to create a regular income stream from the monthly distributions offered by this ETF.
