List of Global X ETFs

Global X is, thanks to its purchase of ETF Securities in 2022, Australia's second-oldest ETF business. ETF Securities was founded by Graham Tuckwell in 2003 and grew to become one of the leaders in the Australian ETF market before being taken over by Global X ETFs, a division of Mirae Asset Management.

Australia's largest gold ETF, the Global X Physical Gold ETF (ASX: GOLD) was the first gold ETF in Australia, dating back to 2003. Ten years later, in 2013, ETF Securities sold its European and US businesses to WisdomTree, making its founder Graham Tuckwell one of the richest people in Australia.

Mirae Asset is a truly global business, responsible for $545 billion of assets under management as of 2022. Its Global X ETFs business, based out of New York, has been operating for more than 10 years (it was founded in 2008) and accumulated over $47 billion of investments in its ETFs before it landed in Australia.
