ASX All Ords Index (ASX:XAO) share price news

The All Ordinaries index (ASX:XAO) is an Australian stock market index designed to track only the largest and most ‘liquid’ shares traded on the ASX. It tracks the value of the largest public companies ranked by their market capitalisation, adjusted for the shares that are actually available on the market. The “All Ords” (as it’s known) will increase if enough companies see their share prices rise, and fall when they are sold down.
