iShares IAF ETF (ASX:IAF)
The iShares IAF ETF provides Australian investors with exposure to a portfolio of Australian investment-grade fixed income securities, which includes treasury bonds, corporate bonds and cash.
What does the IAF invest in?
IAF aims to track the performance of the Bloomberg AusBond Composite 0+ Yr Index. To do so, the fund implements stratified sampling to create a portfolio that behaves like the Index. Investors could use IAF to get exposure to a portfolio of Australian investment-grade fixed income securities and as a potential option for income. Majority of the bonds within IAF are treasury and government-related bonds.
What do investors use IAF for?
Investors could use the IAF ETF to diversify an existing portfolio and gain exposure to Australian bonds, or to create a regular income stream from the quarterly distributions offered by this ETF.
