What does the USTB ASX ETF invest in?

To provide its exposure, USTB simply invests into the ETF from DWS Group, the XTrackers II US Treasuries UCITS ETF (LON: XUTD). The underlying ETF launched in 2009 and seeks to be hold a diversified basket of securities across the yield curve.

What do investors use the USTB ETF for?

Investors could use USBT as part of an allocation to fixed income securities, considering it offers exposure to US Government bonds. Be sure to pay attention to where we are in the market cycle, and pros/cons of allocating to just one issuing country (i.e. all of the portfolio exposed to the USA). Investors may seek to use USTB as a complement, rather than a replacement, to an existing bond allocation.
