The iShares IKO ETF provides investors with exposure to the performance of the large and mid-cap segments of the Korean stock market.
IKO invests in more than 100 large and mid-cap shares on the Korean stock market. This includes leading names like Samsung, Hyundai, LG and Kia. You could buy all of these companies yourself using a share brokerage account but that would be a very expensive and time-consuming process. So the IKO ETF provides investors with access to the Korean stock market in a single trade, all from the comfort of the ASX.
Investors could use IKO to get exposure to a basket of just over 100 Korean companies which covers approximately 85% of the free float-adjusted market capitalisation in Korea. So, IKO could be used to diversify an ASX-focused portfolio internationally and take a tactical position in the Korean stock market.
To invest in any ASX ETF, you need to use create your own broker account and choose from over 400 ETFs.
But why bother do that when you can get everything done for you – for a simple, low, fee?
We manage ETF portfolios on behalf of 250+ Australian investors, with over $20 million invested.
