The VanEck Clean Energy ETF (ASX: CLNE) provides investors with exposure to a portfolio of the world’s largest and most liquid companies involved in clean energy production and associated technology and equipment.
The CLNE ETF invests in 30 large and liquid companies with businesses related to global clean energy production, technology and equipment, from both developed and emerging markets.
The CLNE ETF could be used by ethically-conscious investors and/or those looking to get exposure to the clean energy thematic. There are many different types of clean energy, including solar energy, wind power, hydro-electricity, biomass & biofuel, and geothermal energy
