STW PDS
The Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) explains the fees, tax status and some of the risks.
The SPDR STW ETF is Australia’s first ETF and has been operating for over 15 years. STW provides exposure to the largest 200 Australian shares, based on market capitalisation. This is a low-cost way to access top Australian companies through a single fund.
STW tracks the popular ASX 200 index created and maintained by Standard & Poor’s (S&P). This ETF invests in Australian shares, which offer growth and income potential. You could buy all of these companies yourself using a share brokerage account, but that would be a very expensive and time-consuming process. ETFs are an effective way to invest in an entire sector through a single trade.
The SPDR STW ETF could be used by investors to get exposure to a broad basket of Australia’s largest public companies. These Australian companies are likely to grow their profits over time and have a track record of paying regular tax-effective dividends for their shareholders.
